Welcome to Xtrustar your trusted partner for high-quality extrusion dies in India.
In an exciting move towards innovation and collaboration, Maruti Engineering and Tanishi Engineering, a renowned manufacturer of blown film dies, joined forces to form Xtrustar—a new entity focused on delivering affordable and cutting-edge plastics recycling machines. While Xtrustar is dedicated to advancing recycling technology, Maruti Engineering continues to specialize in high-performance screw barrels, and Tanishi Engineering focuses on blown film dies. Today, the combined group boasts three factories and three offices across Ahmedabad, leveraging their collective expertise to address diverse industry needs. Together, they stand committed to delivering superior quality, innovation, and affordability in their products and services while driving progress in plastics manufacturing and recycling. Both of our parent companies sell their products under Xtrustar brand.
We also proudly serve end-user companies in the film manufacturing, packaging, and tarpaulin industries. Expanding beyond domestic markets, we have established a growing presence in international markets, exporting our high-precision dies to clients across the Middle East and other global regions.
Despite initial challenges, our dedication to innovation never wavered. Over the last 40 years, our group has developed and delivered more than 500 different types of small and medium-sized plastic extrusion machines, leaving a significant footprint in the local market. This phase of growth was defined by a commitment to quality, earning us a loyal customer base and laying a strong foundation for our future aspirations. During this period, some family members moved abroad, establishing valuable connections in Muscat, Oman, and other parts of the Middle East, further expanding our reach and reputation.
In 2015, recognizing Ahmedabad’s immense potential as a hub for the plastics machinery industry, we strategically relocated our operations to Gujarat.
With this move, we decided to sharpen our focus and dedicate our expertise to a single specialized product: blown film dies. At the time, Ahmedabad’s market was saturated with manufacturers producing screw barrels, screen changers, and gearboxes, but there was a noticeable gap in the availability of high-quality, specialized blown film dies. Machine manufacturers were either struggling to produce these dies in-house or relying heavily on imports from China.
We identified this opportunity and committed ourselves to filling this void, becoming a trusted and reliable partner in the industry.
Under the visionary leadership of Mr. Sugath Sivadasan, a stalwart with over 30 years of experience in the extrusion industry, we embarked on an ambitious journey to redefine excellence in blown film die manufacturing. Mr. Sivadasan dedicated the first six years of our Ahmedabad operations to relentless research and development, reinvesting profits to refine our designs and processes. His hands-on approach and unwavering commitment to quality have positioned Tanishi Industries as India’s foremost name in blown film die manufacturing.
Today, Tanishi Industries stands tall as a leading OEM, supplying a wide range of blown film dies—from monolayer to advanced five-layer designs—to machine manufacturers across key industrial regions, including Vadodara, Daman, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Mumbai, and Delhi.
Our product portfolio now includes not only blown film dies but also pipe extrusion dies, meeting the diverse needs of the plastics industry.
“With a robust focus on innovation and a customer-centric approach, we ensure that every die we produce delivers superior performance, precision, and reliability. By maintaining stringent quality standards and continually investing in R&D, we have earned the trust of numerous machine manufacturers and end-user companies alike.”
At Tanishi Industries, we pride ourselves on our legacy of innovation, our commitment to excellence, and our ability to adapt to the ever-changing demands of the industry. With a dedicated team of experts and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, we are poised to continue our journey as India’s undisputed leader in extrusion die manufacturing.
